Hi guys! Im new =)

I searched your board, and tried to find in it, but so much is in german i could not find my answer, so il post it.

I have played settlers 2 since i was a kid, and i remember downloading it , and trying to play with the harbor without sucsess.

Now im planing to buy S2 Gold from GoG(50% off) so my question is, does the harbor not work in Gold? And second question is if i download "R-t-t-R" will it work ?

Well, the original had only harbor buildings in some missions (first one in mission 4) and you cant use them in free play.

RttR is an Addon or Mod for the game which enables some more features and allows you to play the old settler 2 on win7,mac,linux etc. The game was recoded. You can play evertime with ships, the searfaring works a bit diffrent because it should be useable in multiplayer.

you will find 3 versions, 1x Mac, 2x Linux and 2x Windows and then you have to chose your systemtype (32 or 64 bit) while i386 is used for x32 systems (I think)

For example win7 x64: http://www.siedler25.org/uploads/nightly/s25rttr_20120709-8032_windows.x86_64.tar.bz2

you will get a folder, copy the content of your folder into your s2 gold installation directory and start s25client.exe
