Hello, so I said to myself that I will try some mapping. I prefer big, real continents like maps and with new
possibilities of RTTR, I started 512 x 512 map, creating entire eastern hemisphere (I was motivated after seeing world
map created here). However it does not really fits into my 512 x 512 map as I would need to enlarge the map width. Is
it possible or do I have to just cut the piece of the continent?

the size should be even, but i.e 768x512 should work too, but needs a lot of resources ingame

It is possible. Also 1024x1024 - I personally recommend you to use my b to swd tool for basic surface so you can check your
map sizes right at the beginning without much effort.
If you think about enlarging your existing map, it is also possible but currently only by hand.

Can you please elaborate, what do you mean by enlarging the map by hand?

Also, another question. As FloSoft indicated, is it stable to play the map with such a size, I mean bigger than 512 x
512 with lets say 6 AI slots?

Lets say your map is 4x4, so you got 14 blocks alle having this format:

and in a file 1234123412341234

If you now want to change this mal to 6x4
1 2 3 4 ? ? | 1
1 2 3 4 ? ? | 2
1 2 3 4 ? ? | 3
1 2 3 4 ? ? | 4
------------+
1 2 3 4 5 6
and in a file 1234??1234??1234??1234?? so thats what you need to change.
