FloSofts Coding-Sklave
More than one month has passed since the release of the source code and there are actually the first outcomes you can watch. jh has created a fully working statistics window and is working at the post system at the moment which you can find in the nightly builds from today and which already operates quite well. Divan, who created the free scalable ingame frames for widescreen resolutions in the past, is now developing a menu for switching possible extensions on and off.

Lately I implemented a complete AI interface which you can recognize at the moment in the nightlys setting flags at random around its HQ. Zahl has signalized to go in for it. But of course everyone is invited to develop his own AI if he thinks he has the ability.

Unfortunately the nightly builds are quite unstable at the moment because of some internal code refactoring in the last weeks and that new features. So we recommend to use the 0.6 for a real and stable game but we ask you to test it because it is the only way to find and fix bugs. In this case the bugtracker has done a good job although the Wishlist is overcrowded with more or less reasonable suggestions.

Currently, I am implementing the diplomacy system and the next big milestone will be the shipping system but we are still not sure how it will exactly look. (see the discussion in the Forum)

Could be much better if you all try to use English instead of German...

If someone who knew the source code could release a build that makes coal/iron/gold mines last forever, I would be eternally grateful. I would do it myself, but finding what I would need to change and changing it properly would take SO much more time than if someone who was familiar with the code to do it.

Thanks in advance peeps

I imagine you would somehow give the same properties as water has, as a ware to be taken from the ground.

The problem with setting infinite ware scenarios, is that eventually the availability of the land itself becomes the restraint, on how big and how fast you can generate growth in the economy.

It will also lead to an overcrowding of events: causing crashes, buildings left unoccupied, military combat bugging, etc.

I thought that this will be somewhen an option in the Server-Create-Menue or not? because infinite wares was an idea in the past for longer rounds and all these things
