Hi! I am really nicely suppised, how you guyes improved this game. So many fixed bugs and lacks of funcionality... I just love this upgraded version! BluByte/Ubisoft should learn from you. I have been in closed beta of the the latest version of Settlers and it was so bad, that I have closed it after short time. RTTR is really the best version in last three decades of existing this series. In the original version there was one very annouing thing, that I always thought, authors have missed. I mean notification of depleted one of the resources - trees. I am a little supprised, that in this version it is not taken care of. Is it not annoying to anybody else or it is not possible to fix it? Or maybe I am missing some switch to turn it on? My game is up to date with lates fixes using update application. By the way, app for updateing is awsome upgrade to the Settlers!

This is simply because forest is not really depleted. You can always have a forester regrow it. So a message doesn't really make sense as it might a) be wanted for e.g. clearing an area or b) be wrong as trees will regrow in a bit when the forester comes around.
So the use of that message vs possible issues is not really worth it IMO.

I kinda disagree. Although the message can be tedious, when having a look at woodcutters, one builds some for constant production and some for deforesting. If a woodcutter falls to 0% it's quite certain it will never rise again. So it does make sense in my opinion. But I agree that giving a message when the woodcutter doesn't find a tree in a workcycle doesn't make sense.

Have you noticed, that woodcutter's hut drops to 0% after some time after there is no more trees? It is not right away, but some time later. Same thing with hunter's hut. Lack of this possibility is quite time consuming on big maps >200 x >200 with a lot of random trees, where you have tu cut many trees to make space for building. I ma just saying, that would be really nice to have that option for people whoo play in such maps, or just like to cut all the random trees and have forests in chosen places.

I also would wish this function. When you have a generated map you have to cut from time to time some trees which are blocking space to build. Then I build a
woodcutter and he does his work. But when all trees are gone there and he finished his job he fall to 0% and no one tells me. So I notice it most time long time after.

Also a message which tells you the enemy give up should show up in the message box. not only in the console
