Apologies for this being in English...

Greetings, I recently decided to play Settlers II again, after some time of not playing games.

I haven't played Settlers II for years, so I'll be getting back to grips with the original first, before I start playing the multi-player you have so generously made.

Because everything on the forum is in German, can you give me a quick guide first on what you need from me?

If you need ideas, implementation, bug fixes or gaming tips, I can help.

Oh... there hasn't been much activity on the site, so is the project on hold?

Bug fixes oder Implementations are good to, join the IRC channel of settler25 (#siedler2.5) there you can ask your questions an the people (who are there) will answer you.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/s25rttr On this side are the most bugs and if you can, you can fix them easy :p mostly here is spoken english ;)

I apologized about it being in English because of the obvious... the forum formats are in German. I can't tell what the rules are about what you can type, if any, so I assumed I would have to admit it was a mistake I couldn't avoid, so apologized.

OK, sure: I will give my ideas soon: I'm going to practice and test first. ;)

Already after just one day playing, I'm halfway through the Roman Campaign. Once I've completed the World Campaign, I'll see if I can play with any of you at multi-player. :D

Haven't used I.R.C. channels for a while... I usually use either I.M. services or E-mail. But sure, if they're safe, I don't see why not.

OK, well... about the delays, I understand. Just until recently, I had no time to have some kind of interactive entertainment (gaming), as I was far too involved in the more physical world, to become preoccupied with finding time for, "getting lost in my own little world."  :D

Bad English? Your English is very reasonable to read. I've seen a lot worse...

I was only trying to be polite when I apologized, so let's not debate it any further.;)

Well I've given a few fixes more than ideas, in the "Ideas" topic I made. Most of my ideas not included, go along the same lines of being logical towards the economy, the military game play, and the surrounding environment.

Nothing crazy or radical, really...

The game as a whole, needs to evolve with a little innovation, but the things that work, don't need changing. The only things that do need changing, that do work, are those that break under stress testing.

OK, when I can play multi-player, I'll go on the I.R.C. and check with you.

What times are good for you? I realize that you're on C.E.T., so I'll make it easier for you, and adjust around when you're available.

Well I've already read your "Ideas" threat in the Forum and you are right with your things ;) but I don't really know if I've got understood everything right :D

Well, mostly I have no time too because of my girlfriend but on Monday and Friday I've got ever time from, let's say 3 o'clock to 6 pm, I don't know which time it for you :D
